A lot of energy is required to produce bottled water.  From energy consumption in the manufacture of bottles to the energy required to bottle, move, and store them, Eliminate bottled water and replace it with bottle-free water to help save energy.

By switching to bottleless water, you’re helping to save energy.  That’s a real and easy step you can take towards greater sustainability in your business.

Two to five bottles of water.  That’s what it takes to manufacture a water bottle, including all the process steps to extract the petroleum, make the plastic, then form the bottle. 

One more bottle of water.  That’s what it takes to fill a bottle of water.  Water is used to generate power.  Water is used to wash used bottles before re-use.  And water is wasted in the process of bottling water.

By switching to bottleless water, you’re helping to save water.

1,500,000 barrels of oil are used to manufacture plastic water bottles every year.  That’s a lot of oil.  There are a lot of obvious reasons to reduce that figure.  Not least of which is dependence on commerce with foreign countries that we’d rather not finance.  The environmental consequences simply to extract that oil are also unpleasant.

By switching to bottleless water, you’re helping to reduce our dependence on petroleum.

Power plants and transportation are major sources of greenhouse gas emissions.  Reducing the use of electricity – primarily generated from fossil fuels – is perhaps the most important way to reduce GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions.  Transportation is almost exclusively based on the use of fossil fuels.  Every mile not travelled by water delivery truck means fuel not consumed and greenhouse gases not emitted.
