Freedom From Health Issues
Bottled Water Coolers Are Not Necessarily Healthy. Choose Bottleless Instead!

What's different about a Quench water cooler compared to the traditional 5 gallon bottle water cooler? For one, health issues. 5 gallon bottled water coolers are designed so water in the reservoir is open to the air. And the top of each new bottle or jug dips into your reservoir, as well. A Quench cooler is a closed system keeping hands and germs out of your water.
Here are a few questions you may want to ask yourself:
-
What happens during flu season when someone grabs the neck of a new bottle?
-
Ever wonder where the dust on the top of your stored spare bottles ends up?
-
Anything floating around in your office air that you’d rather not have in your stomach?
It’s an acknowledged problem – so much so that the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) recommends that 5 gallon bottled water dispensers be sanitized every 3 months.
So, anyone in your office remember the last time your water cooler was cleaned?
Water Jugs Themselves May Be Unhealthy.
Don’t forget. Bottled water companies store your water before delivering it to you. It’s likely those jugs stay in storage a few more weeks before you use them. Sure would be nice to drink fresh water, wouldn’t it?
Of special concern to a number of people, water jugs are typically made from plastics that use the chemical bisphenol-A (BPA) as a hardening agent. Because BPA may leach out of plastic and into water, if it’s in your water jug, you may be drinking it. Quench only provide BPA-free water coolers.
A number of regulatory agencies now view BPA as a possible health hazard, and a number of states and the country of Canada now ban the use of BPA altogether in certain food-and drink-related containers.
Any reason you want BPA in the bodies of your co-workers?
