Quench Hires Thomas C. Breslin as Chief Financial Officer

March 12, 2012

King Of Prussia, PA (March 12, 2012)  —  Quench, the largest independent provider of filtered water coolers in North America, announced today that Thomas C. Breslin has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Breslin will lead Quench’s financial organization and provide strategic insight as the company accelerates its growth and enters key markets nationwide. Quench recently received $30 million in growth capital from new and existing investors.

‘Tom brings a demonstrated wealth of financial management expertise to Quench,” said Quench Chief Executive Officer Anthony Ibarguen. “His track record leading complex, growth-oriented organizations, and his experience with service-based, high-volume operations will be exceptionally valuable to the company.”

Mr. Breslin has served as CFO of several high-growth companies in his 20-plus year career. He served as CFO of Sonitrol Corporation during a period in which the company grew by 67% and acquired 12 other companies. Sonitrol, subsequently acquired by Stanley Works (now Stanley Black and Decker), was a provider of electronic security systems for businesses and educational institutions, with a business model very similar to Quench’s. More recently, he was the CFO of a privately-held diversified holding company where he led multiple acquisitions while providing strategic guidance and improving cash flow. Mr. Breslin is a graduate of LaSalle University and resides with his family in Abington, PA.

“Quench provides a positive environment for strategic growth – with its market-leading position, verifiable selling proposition, skilled staff and experienced leadership” noted Breslin, “and I’m pleased to be a part of a team that is so keenly focused on achieving its goals.”
