Quench is led by a dedicated and deeply experienced management team.  Our leadership combines best-in-class skills, assembled both from within and from outside the water service business. 

 

 

Anthony Ibarguen, Chief Executive Officer

 

Tony joined Quench in 2010, bringing executive leadership experience with companies spanning investor-backed startups to the Fortune 500.  Prior to Quench, he was interim CEO of Insight Enterprises (NSIT), a $4 billion information technology business, where he remains on the Board of Directors.  Before that, Tony was CEO of Alliance Consulting Group, a privately-held IT consultancy and President of Tech Data (TECD), a global technology distributor.  He also spent several years as Managing Director at publicly-held investment firms Internet Capital Group (ICGE) and Safeguard Scientifics (SFE), working with high growth companies in the technology industry. Tony earned a degree in Marketing from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. 

 

 

 

 

 

Todd Peterson, Chief Operating Officer

 

Todd is the Chief Operating Officer of Quench, focusing predominantly on the growth of new customers through sales, marketing, business development and acquisitions. Todd is also an Operating Partner at Element Partners, a $750 million “cleantech” private equity firm and investor in Quench.

 

Prior to joining Quench, Todd co-founded Foster Chamberlain LLC, a firm that incubates cleantech companies spun out of large corporations and research labs, including an energy harvesting company (sold to Bayer AG, NYSE: BAY), a developer of drive systems for hybrid vehicles (sold to Robert Bosch GmbH), and a developer of advanced equipment for making solar photovoltaic cells (sold to BTU International, NASDAQ: BTUI). Previously, Todd worked for strategy consulting firm Booz|Allen|Hamilton and Enron Corporation.

 

Todd currently serves on the Board of Directors of Electro-Petroleum, Inc., an enhanced oil recovery company spun out of General Electric.

 

Todd holds BS and MBA degrees from The Wharton School, where as a graduate student he was awarded a Fellowship from Ford Motor Company.

 

 

Wendy DiCicco, Chief Financial Officer

 

Wendy serves as Chief Financial Officer of Quench.  Prior to joining Quench, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of Globus Medical, Inc. and Kensey Nash Corporation.  Globus Medical is the world’s largest privately held spinal company and Kensey Nash is a publicly traded medical device company providing innovative products in the field of resorbable biomaterials. Wendy was an Accounting and Audit Manager at the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. 

 

Wendy is a member of the board of directors of II-VI, Incorporated, a publicly traded, worldwide leader in crystal growth technology and has served on the boards of the Chester County Economic Development Council and the Upper Main Line YMCA.  She holds a BS in accounting from Philadelphia University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.   

 

 

 

Ed Kane, Vice President of Sales

 

As Founder of Quench, Ed has successfully grown the business for over fifteen years.  He has taken the business from startup stage to its current position as the largest bottleless water company in North America.  Under his guidance, Quench has consistently led the bottleless water business, holding the position of top performing dealership for the leading cooler manufacturer for seven years of his tenure.

  

Prior to Quench, Ed was Corporate VP of Operations for IKON Office Solutions and President of IKON NYC, where he grew the business from $500K to $37 mil over a three year span.   Before IKON, he held the position of VP of Sales/Marketing for Ricoh and Savin Corp.   Ed began his career at IBM, where he served for a dozen years.  Ed holds a BS in Math and Psychology from St Francis College.

 

 

 

 

Chris Turano, Vice President of Service

 

Chris has been leading service efforts in the bottleless water cooler business longer than Quench has been in existence.  He has held the Vice President of Service position with Quench since 2007, more than doubling the number of Quench water coolers installed and serviced across the US during his tenure.  Prior to Quench, Chris served as Director of Service for Aquaperfect, where he got his start in bottleless water as a service technician.  Before that, Chris worked in sales for Builders’ Square, a construction supplies firm.  Chris attended the University of Cincinnati  and the College of Staten Island.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Doughty, Vice President of National Account Sales

 

Jeff spearheads national account sales for Quench. Jeff is another veteran of the water cooler service industry, spending more than twenty years selling bottleless coolers.  Jeff joined Quench in 2010 when his firm, Spectrum Water Coolers, became part of Quench.  Jeff is credited with executing the largest projects in the history of the water cooler industry, successfully deploying thousands of coolers across the United States.

                                             

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and holds an MBA from The Rochester Institute of Technology.
