RO membranes are great at removing dissolved impurities from your water.  The Quench RO filter also includes carbon pre- and post-filters to help eliminate the organic molecules that can give off tastes and odors.  That combination delivers extraordinarily pure water.

Reverse osmosis is a top-of-the-line choice, and some water conditions require it.  However, an RO water system is more expensive, and it does require a drain line.
